Is MojQuiz completely free to use?

Yes. MojQuiz is 100% free. You can play unlimited quizzes across every category without registration, subscription, or payment. We support the platform through non-intrusive advertising. There are no hidden fees, premium tiers, or paywalls — every feature, including achievements and leaderboards, is free.

Do I need to create an account to play quizzes?

No account required. Visit the site, choose a category, pick a difficulty, and start playing. Your progress, achievements, and scores are saved locally in your browser using localStorage, which means they won't transfer to a different device or browser, and they'll reset if you clear browser data.

Can I play quizzes on mobile devices?

Yes. MojQuiz is fully responsive and works seamlessly on phones, tablets, and desktops. You can also install it as a Progressive Web App for quick access and offline play — tap "Add to Home Screen" when prompted by your browser.

How many questions are in each quiz?

Each quiz contains 10 questions. Questions are randomly drawn from our database every time you play, so you can retake a quiz and see different material. Our question pool is updated regularly.

What are the different difficulty levels?

Each category offers three levels:

• Easy: beginner-friendly questions covering basic knowledge — good for warm-ups.
• Medium: moderate challenge requiring general knowledge and some topic-specific depth.
• Hard: expert-level questions for serious learners and topic enthusiasts.

How much time do I have to answer each question?

You have 15 seconds per question, shown by a countdown timer. If time runs out the question is marked incorrect and the correct answer is revealed before moving on. The time limit adds a bit of pressure and helps build quick recall.

Can I pause or stop a quiz in progress?

A quiz is designed to be completed in one session (around 2–3 minutes). You can exit any time via the exit button, but progress is not saved mid-quiz — you'll need to start over. We recommend playing through in one go for accurate timing stats.

How is my score calculated?

Your score is the number of correct answers out of 10, shown as both a raw score (e.g. 7/10) and a percentage (e.g. 70%). Every question is weighted equally. The results screen also shows performance analysis and feedback. Scores are saved locally and count toward achievement unlocks and leaderboard rankings.

How are my scores and achievements saved?

Scores, achievements, statistics, and leaderboard rankings are saved locally in your browser via localStorage. That keeps your data private and on your device — nothing is uploaded to our servers. The tradeoff: clearing browser data, switching browsers, or moving to a new device will reset your progress.

How can I earn achievements?

Achievements unlock automatically as you play and hit milestones. They include things like:

• Completing your first quiz (Getting Started)
• Earning perfect scores (Perfect Score, Perfectionist)
• Trying multiple categories (Category Explorer, Knowledge Seeker)
• Playing on different days (Dedicated Learner)
• Sharing your results (Social Sharer)
• Time-based achievements (Early Bird, Night Owl, Speed Demon)

Open the Achievements page to see all available badges, your current progress, and the ones you've already unlocked. A pop-up notification appears whenever you unlock a new badge.

How do leaderboards work?

Leaderboards track top scores by category and difficulty. When you finish a quiz, your score is added to the relevant board using a randomly generated player ID for anonymity. Rankings are ordered by percentage, with earlier finishes winning ties. Note that leaderboards are stored locally, so they reflect scores from your device only.

Can I share my quiz results on social media?

Yes. After any quiz you can share your score to Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn from the results page. Each share includes your score, category, difficulty, and a challenge message. You can also copy a direct link. Sharing unlocks the "Social Sharer" achievement.

What quiz categories are available?

MojQuiz currently offers these categories:

• General Knowledge — broad topics and trivia
• Science — biology, chemistry, physics, and more
• History — world history, events, and figures
• Geography — countries, capitals, landmarks
• Sports — major sports and athletes
• Entertainment — movies, TV, celebrities
• Technology — computing, gadgets, innovations

Every category has Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulty levels with hundreds of questions each.

How often are new questions added?

We update the question database regularly to keep content fresh and accurate. New questions are added based on user feedback, current events, and emerging topics. Existing questions are also reviewed and refined to keep them up to date.

What if I find an incorrect answer?

We aim for accuracy, but mistakes happen. If you spot one, please reach out via the Contact page with the category, difficulty level, the exact question, and why you believe the answer is incorrect. We review reports promptly and update questions as needed.

Can I use MojQuiz questions to host a quiz night?

Yes. Our questions are well-suited for pub quizzes, classroom games, office team-building, and family game nights. Is my personal information collected or stored?

No. MojQuiz doesn't require registration, so we don't collect names, emails, or any personal information. Quiz data lives locally in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers. We use Google Analytics for anonymous usage statistics that help us improve the site, but those numbers can't be linked back to individual users. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Is MojQuiz safe for children?

Yes. MojQuiz is family-friendly. Content is educational and free of inappropriate language, violence, or adult themes. Advertising follows family-safe standards.
