Questions on countries, international organisations and events from the last decade or so — event questions name their year, so the answer stays true.
This category mixes two kinds of question. Most are general world awareness: capitals, currencies, international organisations, and the places behind landmark events. The rest are about specific recent events, from the 2015 Paris Agreement and the COVID-19 pandemic to the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the 2023 G20 summit in New Delhi. Those questions name their year, because a question about who currently holds an office stops being true the moment someone else does. There is no fixed update schedule, so treat this as recent history rather than news: nothing here tells you what happened this week. Easy rounds stay with well-known facts, and hard rounds ask about the agreements, summits and organisations a regular news reader will recognise. The sample questions below show the answer with a short note on each.

- Is it enough for UPSC or SSC current affairs preparation?
- No. Those papers test the past year or two of news in far more depth, including Indian government schemes and reports. This quiz is general world-awareness practice to use alongside that.
